Vegan Garlic Bread
This easy vegan garlic bread recipe is the best way to make garlic bread at home! Roasting your garlic first is the key for a delicious roasted garlic spread.

Yield6 servings
- 1 garlic bulb
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp vegan butter (softened)
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp parsley (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp - 1/2 tsp sea salt (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 of a baguette
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Slice off the top of the garlic bulb to expose the garlic cloves inside. Drizzle the top with olive oil, and wrap the entire bulb in aluminum foil. Place in the oven and allow to cook for one hour. Do not turn off the oven.
Remove the garlic from the oven and allow it to cool slightly before squeezing the roasted garlic into a small bowl. Mix with softened vegan butter, nutritional yeast, parsley, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt. Taste and add more salt, if needed.
Spread this on top of your sliced baguette, and roast in the oven for about 10 minutes, until the edges of the bread starts to brown.
Slice your garlic bread into wedges and enjoy on its own, or with marinara sauce!
