The BEST Homemade Granola

This is the BEST and only homemade granola recipe you’ll ever need! When I tell you this is the best granola recipe you’ll ever try, I mean it! This homemade granola recipe is vegan, and also can be made gluten-free if you use gluten-free oats.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 c coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 c coconut oil
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 c old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 c sliced almonds (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 300 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Mix the oats and almonds together in a large bowl. Set aside.
  • Add the coconut sugar, maple syrup, coconut oil, and water to a skillet over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently until the mixture thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat. Pour in the vanilla and cinnamon, and stir again until combined.
  • Pour the liquid over the oats mixture, and toss together until evenly coated.
  • Spread the coated oats in an even layer in the baking pan. Bake for 40-50 minutes, tossing halfway through, until oats are golden brown.
  • Cool completely before enjoying!
